About Me

Hannah Mason is an EMC actor, filmmaker, and writer originally from San Antonio, Texas.

After high school, Hannah received her undergraduate degree in acting and film studies at the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film. She officially became an Equity Membership Candidate in 2021. After graduation, she moved back to Texas, where she is currently based in Austin, TX, and served as the Director of the Young Filmmakers Program at Austin Film Festival. Before joining the Austin Film Festival, she worked for various non-profits in Austin, such as the ZACH Theatre, Impact Arts, and more. Previously, she has also worked at various film companies, such as PBS (where she worked on the project American Portrait), Radical Media, Argo Media, and others. As an Equity Membership Candidate with the Actors Equity Association, she has performed at various theaters and film companies, such as the Nebraska Repertory Theatre and HBO Max. In 2024, Hannah moved to Los Angeles, CA to attend the exclusive MFA Producers Program at UCLA.

Due to her versatile history, she can play and write about a variety of characters, ranging from the best friend to social justice warrior, to (most importantly) Texan.
